She's the Australian TV host, who was crowned Miss Universe Australia in 2009.

And on Monday, the media personality gave fans a glimpse into her younger years while sharing an adorable throwback snap on Instagram.

Appearing in purple athletic attire, the 29-year-old reflected on dreams from her childhood.

'Where I spent a hell of a lot of afternoons & weekends growing up.. trackside at athletics carnivals, either waiting for my events or competing,' she captioned.

'My dream was to compete at the Olympics in long jump.. before I started my modelling journey by total chance. Sport will always be a part of me. How's the fringe?'

The star was revealed as Rachael Finch, who appears at an athletics carnival, waiting track side for an event to begin with the number '722' attached.

Her lucious locks were swept up in a ponytail and bangs framed her face as she smiled candidly at the camera.

The photo was taken several years before Rachael would be crowned Miss Universe Australia and finish 3rd in the Miss Universe worldwide pageant.

Since her childhood, Rachael has also featured on many high-profile TV shows, including Dancing With The Stars, and has featured as a weather reporter for Channel Seven's Sunrise.

She married her Dancing With The Stars partner Michael Miziner in 2013.

She has given birth to two children, Violet, three, and Dominic, seven months.
