Former Miss USA Nia Sanchez back in PH to explore Palawan

MANILA – Nia Sanchez, who represented the United States at the Miss Universe pageant in 2014, is back in the Philippines to explore more of the country’s tourist spots.
On Instagram, Sanchez revealed that she is currently in Port Barton in Palawan along with Miss Universe Australia Tegan Martin and Australian models Renae Ayris, Natalie Jayne Roser, and Brooke Nash.

The first time Sanchez visited Palawan was in January when she stayed in El Nido for a day along with the other beauty queens who joined the Miss Universe pageant.
Sanchez couldn’t stop gushing about Port Barton, describing it as a paradise.

“If you want to know what paradise is, this is paradise. The video does not do it justice. The water is so clear and blue. There are cute little huts. It is paradise,” she said.
Aside from island hopping, the four ladies also visited a remote elementary school where they got to interact with some Filipino children.

They also went to see the Underground River in Puerto Princesa, and went snorkeling and paddle boarding in Port Borton.
