When Rosanna Davison was first approached by a talent scout for a beauty pageant, she wasn't sure what to do.

She eventually agreed to take part and found herself competing in the Miss Ireland competition just a few months later.

Fast forward to 2003, and she is Miss World. Today, the beautiful blonde from Dublin certainly isn't shying away from the limelight.

She's a model, a singer, an actress and nutrition guru.

And now, it looks like she's going to enter the CBB house.

But who is Rosanna Davison? Here is everything you need to know about her…

Rosanna Davison was born on April 17, 1984 in Dublin, Ireland. She is the daughter of musician Chris de Burgh, who dedicated the song "For Rosanna" for his 1986 album 'Into the Light' to her.

Rosanna attended Rathdown School in Glenageary, County Dublin where she was class prefect before graduating in 2002.

One year later, she became Miss Ireland, Miss World Europe and Miss World, and then went on to graduate with a degree in sociology and art history from University College Dublin in 2006.

Recently, Rosanna, who recently became a vegan after going veggie for about a decade, also enrolled in a part-time course in Dublin with to become a qualified nutritional therapist.

Rosanna married her husband Wesley Quirke in May 2014 as part of a hush-hush civil ceremony in a plush Dublin hotel, followed by a bigger wedding celebration in Ibiza later the same year. The couple had their honeymoon in the Seychelles.

The model revealed at the time that the couple had no plans to start a family any time soon.

Why is Rosanna Davison famous?

Rosanna has many claims to fame: her famous father, her global beauty pageant successes, and, more recently, her modelling as well as nutrition guru career.

In October 2012, she became the first Irish woman to appear topless on the cover of Playboy magazine, and in 2013, she posed naked in red-hot photos advocating her newly-discovered vegan life style.

Surrounded by red chilli peppers, she showed off her flawless figure proclaiming: “I’ve never felt as fit and healthy as I do as a vegan, vegan meals aren’t just delicious – they’re free of animal fat and cholesterol, and they’re packed with vitamins.

"Going vegan is the best way to keep your heart healthy and your body looking great."

She went on to take part in the Galway Ironman - an event which includes a half marathon, 90km bike ride, and 1.9 kilometre swim.

In February 2015 she signed a publishing deal with Gill Books for her first cookery book, Eat Yourself Beautiful , which was released in August 2015 and went on to become a best seller.

She's also known for her appearance in Comic Relief: Red Nose Night Live in 2005, as well as Harry Hill: An Audience with Harry Hill, and Rosanna is currently the face of Holiday On Ice.

Celebrity Big Brother returns to Five on Tuesday 2 August 2017 at 9.05 PM.

The latest series of the hit reality show - the second for 2017 following the January series - will begin with Emma Willis introducing the all star cast.

It will be the 20th version of the long running celebrity edition of the reality show - with other stars joining the show for the summer including Girls Aloud’s Sarah Harding, Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson, and Gogglebox star Sandi Bogle.
