2018 Miss America Preliminaries begin

Watch as all 51 Miss America competitors showcase their talent, beauty and brains during three nights of preliminary competitions beginning Wednesday, Sept. 6.

Taking place from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 6 to 8 at Atlantic City’s Boardwalk Hall, the preliminary competitions feature each contestant competing in four different categories over the course of the three nights. Categories include Talent; Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimsuit; Evening Wear; and On Stage Question. Contestants will be scored based on their performance in each category.

After the preliminaries, the top 15 contestants will go on to the final competition on Sunday, Sept. 10. Tickets for each night range from $23 to $53.
