Former Miss World Philippines 2016 Catriona Gray submitted her application for the upcoming Binibining Pilipinas 2018 beauty pageant.

Gray confirmed the news in a media interview earlier this week.

“I felt like I had an unfinished business,” she said. “Also, I really enjoyed being a charity spokesperson for the longest time so I wanted a bigger platform,” Gray added.

The 24-year-old beauty queen also reveal that she’ll go independent on her Binibining Pilipinas journey.

Catriona Gray represent the Philippines in the Miss World 2016 pageant. She made it to the Top 5 finalists.

Meanwhile, Star Magic talent Vickie Rushton and volleyball player Michele Gumabao also submitted their application for Binibining Pilipinas 2018.

Binibining Pilipinas 2018, the 55th edition of Binibining Pilipinas beauty pageant, will be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on March 18, 2018.
