Genesis Davila earned the title of Miss Florida USA on July 16, 2016 and just when she was happy with her victory, she was stripped off her crown within a week. Why was she stripped off her crown? Read the article to know the reason.

Genesis was, after winning the title of Miss Florida 2016 felt very ecstatic and grateful about it. She was very happy as the title Miss Florida had got her one step closer to Miss Universe, the highest title one can receive as a model.

Genesis posted a photo on Instagram just a few nights before the beauty pageant took place. You can see in the picture that the model Genesis was getting her makeup done by a professional makeup artist.

After posting her picture with the make up artist and after winning the pageant the 24 year old0 model Genesis Davila was completely stripped of her crown. Genesis Davila held the Miss Florida USA 2017 title for just a week.

The officials who held the pageant had discovered that Genesis had  broken the rules, according to pageant rules, contestants are supposed to do their own makeup. But Genesis Davila used a professional stylists to help with her hair and makeup.
