Filipina beauty Katarina Rodriguez is asking support from her fellow countrymen in order to obtain a spot in the semifinals of the 2017 Miss Intercontinental pageant.

In her instagram post, Rodriguez is asking akl Filipinos to vote for her online so that she could instantly qualify in the pageant’s semi-finals.

Netizens can vote through the website of the Great Pageant Community until January 23, 2018.

Rodriguez is the representative of the Philippines for the 46th Miss Intercontinental that will happen from January 10-26, 2018 in Hurghada, Egypt.

The crown of the Miss Intercontinental is currently worn by Heilymar Rosario Velasquez of Puerto Rico, while the Philippines bet Jennifer Hammond finished among the Top 15.

If Rodriguez will be victorious in the upcoming pageant, she will be the first Filipina to wear the Miss Intercontinental crown.
