MANILA – Rachel Peters is making the most of her last chance to get a tan before the Miss Universe 2017 beauty pageant.
The country’s representative to Miss Universe is currently in the luxury resort Amanpulo in Palawan for her early birthday celebration.
“Early birthday breakfast,” she wrote as caption to a photo showing her in a sexy bikini. “Last chance to top my tan up before Miss U.”

In another post, Peters hits the beach in a green one-piece swimsuit. “Ready to hit the ground running!” she wrote.

The two posts generated over 500 comments from netizens as they expressed their support for Peters in her journey to the Miss Universe crown.
“Uwian na, may nanalo na!” one wrote.
“Best in swimsuit na ito!” another added.
“You are so ready! Please bring the crown back home!” a fan gushed.
The Philippines last won the Miss Universe crown in 2015. The country finished in the Top 6 in the 2016 edition of the pageant, which was held in Manila.
The Miss Universe 2017 pageant will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 26.
