MISS American Samoa Matauaina Gwendolyn To'omalatai claimed the Miss Pacific Islands 2017 crown last night at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
She also scooped the Best Traditional Attire, Miss Tourism and Miss Photogenic titles.
The first runner-up title went to Miss Samoa Alexandra Iakopo, and Miss Fiji Hally Qaqa took home the second runner-up prize.
The third runner-up was Miss Cook Islands Ernestina Pokuil Bonsu while the fourth runner-up place was won by Miss Rapa Nui Tiare Pakarati.
Miss Samoa claimed most of the prizes from the pageant winning best interview, best talent, Miss Personality and Miss Internet.
Miss Sarong was won by Miss Papua New Guinea Niawali Anastasia Twain.
Minister for Local Government Parveen Kumar said Fiji was proud to have hosted a truly international event.
Next year's pageant will be hosted in Tonga.
