Miss Earth Ghana Runner Up Represents Ghana At World Pageant

Miss Earth Ghana 2015 1st runner up, Maudi Fadi is representing Ghana at the 2017 Miss Earth World pageant happening in the Philippines.

The pageant, according to the organisers aims at selecting queens who will fight for mother earth and it is under the theme: ‘Fight against Climate Change.’

Briefing Starrfmonline.com, over the weekend on the competition Miss Fadi said, she would speaking on sanitation issues in Ghana.

Calling on Ghanaians to support her, she further added that she would be embarking a project dubbed ‘CHALEWOTE’ aimed at raising awareness on the effects of Climate change.

“I chose CHALEWOTE, because here it means friend let’s go, so I’m using it as a chant to tell people that let’s rise and take steps to stop climate change. We should reduce the pollution being caused and embark on more ecofriendly activities like recycling and reusing,” she said.
