Miss Nepal Chandak wins ‘Head-to-Head Challenge’; reaches Top 40

KATHMANDU, Nov 12: Miss Nepal Nikita Chandak has won ‘Head-to-Head Challenge’ of ongoing Miss World in Sanya, China.

Chandak was included in Group-3 of the challenge and won the challenge. Following the win, Chandak has got direct entry in Top-40 of the beauty pageant.

The final round of the competition is scheduled for November 18 in Sanya. “I am really delighted to learn about my entry in Top-30”, Chandak wrote in an official Facebook page of Miss World Nepal. Chandak is making competition in different categories including Top Model, Best in Talent, Beauty with Purpose and Miss Multimedia among others, representing Nepal.

Likewise, online public voting has been launched for the Miss World Multimedia title. Miss Nepal Chandak has prepared a project on menstruation culture among Nepali ladies for the ‘Beauty with Purpose’ category. This project will enhance public awareness regarding the menstruation culture in Nepal, said Chandak. One hundred 19 ladies are representing their countries in the 67th edition of the pageant.

The participants will be evaluated under various categories as per their knowledge and potentiality along with beauty. According to the organizers, the final preparation is underway for the final event and local and international artists will be performing during the grand event.
