In an Instagram post Wednesday night, Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach shared a light moment with her two successors in Dusit Thani Manila in Makati. The group of pageant beauties is visiting the Philippines to promote the country as a tourism destination. DOT's Bring Home A Friend campaign encourages Filipinos and expatriates to invite their foreign friend to visit the country and win exciting raffle prizes. Onboard an e-jeepney, the beauty queens visited the memorial of national hero Jose Rizal, the site where he was executed in the Luneta Park, and Fort Santiago. Nel-Peters and Mittenaere, as well as the other Miss Universe 2017 candidates, are now in Manila upon the invitation of the Department of Tourism. Tomorrow, the title holders will visit Batanes, Bohol, and Camiguin. On Saturday evening, December 9, the ladies will participate in DOT's gala fashion event called "Women of Significance" at the Sofitel Tent of Sofitel Philippine Plaza Manila in Pasay City.
