Miss Universe Australia Olivia Rogers gets the party started for Perth’s Tipple

After spending the past month jetting around the country for the likes of David Jones and Cosmopolitan, Miss Universe Australia Olivia Rogers has landed in Perth to get the party started for Tipple.
The glamorous pageant winner plans to have her feet firmly planted “Tipple-side” during the racing carnival including Derby Day today and Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, as well as being a judge for Fashions on the Field.
“It’s going to be just like being in Melbourne, but with better weather,” she told AAA Weekend.
“I’ve been to the Derby a few times... it’s more about the atmosphere and getting to know people and just enjoying yourself.”

In its inaugural year, Tipple will attract 2000 party-goers today, with a range of marquees including the Bumble marquee, where Rogers plans to enjoy a few champers across the day.
“I’ll be in the Bumble... buzzing around there all day. We’ve got all of the Perth girls from Miss Universe coming as well, so it’ll be really fun,” she said.
AAA was given a sneak peek of the Kitchener Park site. The venue is a hive of activity, from plush new velvet lounges to an assortment of coloured AstroTurf, flowers and even a pamper tent. It’s set to be a solid offering for those not wanting to miss out on any Flemington action.
“They don’t do anything in halves the Barbagallos, so it’ll be pretty cool,” Rogers said.
