It’s that time of year when young women compete for the opportunity to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the Miss Universe pageant.
Franchise holder, Jenny Douglas, says though most of her life was spent living abroad, she’s a proud Trinbagonian and jumped at the opportunity to give this year’s delegates the training necessary to give them an edge as they compete in an American pageant.
She finds it worrying that Trinidad and Tobago has been unable to produce a winner since Wendy Fitzwilliam twenty years ago.
She has invited celebrity judges who she says are qualified to select the girl who stands the best possible chance at success on the international stage.
Miss Universe Trinidad and Tobago is scheduled to take place at the Cascadia Banquet and Conference Centre on Friday from 7pm.
