Miss World preparations underway

PREPARATIONS for Miss World 2017 have already begun with Miss World Fiji 2017 Nanise Rainima engaging top stylist Faraz Ali to style her official wardrobe for the 67th edition of the contest.

Miss World 2017 will begin in Singapore on October 16 before the contestants travel to Malaysia for filming and will close with the crowning on November 18 in Sanya, China.

Miss Rainima will also be wearing designs and attire of local designer labels such as Karalina by Carolyn Ah Koy, RFX by Rachel Fairfax, Zuber by Ilai Jikoiono, Haus of Koila by Adi Koila Ganilau, Pacific Island Art and Hupfeld Hoerder.

Jack's of Fiji has sponsored the sportswear, day wear, travel cases and an Indian ethnic outfit while Master Laisiasa Veikoso of the Conservatorium of Music Fiji and Fiji Arts Council would create the national dress Miss World Fiji will wear during the Dances of the World segment at the pageant.
