This beauty queen wants to meet her celebrity twin

MANILA – Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters is honored to be considered a look-alike of Solenn Heussaff, one of the most popular celebrities in the country.
“I’ve met a lot of her friends and they all say I look like her. I don’t know why! I’ve been here [for] three years but I’ve never seen her in person,” she said in an interview with Preen.

Peters said she hopes to get the chance to meet her celebrity twin someday.
“It’s an honor. I haven’t met Solenn. I would love to meet her, though,” she said.
Peters will represent the Philippines in this year’s Miss Universe. The country has consistently performed well in the international pageant since 2010, highlighted by Pia Wurtzbach’s Miss Universe win in 2015.

“There are so many things to prepare for in the pageant. Some of the things I’m doing already are the hair and makeup training. [I’ve been] preparing my wardrobe also because I need a lot of outfits. Walking, Q&A, personality development, there’s a lot,” she said of her Miss Universe preparations.

“My advocacy is celebrating your individuality. So I want to live that and put on as minimal makeup as possible,” she added.

Aside from being a beauty queen, Peters is also busy with her business – a coffee shop in Siargao, a well-known surf spot in the Philippines.
