Zim to host Miss Universe China pageant

In a bid to promote cultural exchange and business linkages between Zimbabwe and China, the Miss Universe China final competition will be held in Harare on the 9th of this month.

Organised by the China Zimbabwe Youth Forum, the pageant will will be held on the 9th this month and will see 30 models from China together with local models from tourism and universities participating.

China Zimbabwe Youth Forum President, Brian Mudumi said the pageant will be a milestone in promoting tourism in Zimbabwe as the delegation will also tour most of the tourist attractions in the country.

Yuan Liang, a Chinese representative in the China Zimbabwe Youth Forum said Zimbabwe and China have good relations and that the country is a safe tourist destination.

The delegation that includes the 30 models from China is expected to land in the country this Wednesday for a tour around the tourist attractions including Hwange and Victoria Falls before the main event.
